Luke says that Jesus stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her (4:39). See how the fact that the fever left Peter’s mother-in-law is the same, while each Gospel writer adds a new element to the “process” of her healing and thus, to the whole picture? In this Four in One Gospel of Jesus, this passage would look like this: “Jesus came, stood over her, rebuked the fever, took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her” (paraphrased). So, we get the complete picture by adding and mixing all the words and details that are unique in each of the Four Gospels. By Margaret Knorr There have been several times that my husband and I have needed to see the gospel accounts blended together to get a full picture of what is happening, and it is extremely difficult to do by flipping back and forth in your Bible. We have longingly wished that someone would put together a book with the gospels blended together seamlessly in the King James Version, and this is that book! It is truly an answer to prayer. It has obviously been written with a great deal of hard work and attention to detail. It is obvious the author has performed this task with deep reverence to God's word. Every verse has been carefully documented so you know where the information comes from that is used in the narrative. In the back of the book identical passages are detailed and other helpful information is included, such as lists of Old Testament prophesies fulfilled in the New Testament -- there is even a handy chart! I especially like how it is broken up into 31 chapters, so the reading could be broken down into 31 days for use as a devotional. I am very excited to have this book in my library and look forward to getting many years of profitable study with this complementary resource. It is a must for every Christian's library.

Great reference tool By smpdw The Four in One Gospels is a great reference tool or read for anyone desiring to learn how the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John fit with one another. I recommend anyone who would like to learn more about the Gospels get this book. The detail and thought that was placed in each verse and cross reference makes my own study time fast and easy. Because it is a book and not an on line program I don't have to worry about my internet shutting down at an in appropriate time either.

The four gospels are combined in chronological order, which makes it an interesting read. He spent a great amount of time studying and preparing the information to make this a good study of the gospel message.
