This is the very reason why I got this Artisan Cheese Making book, I plan on starting an endeavor that involves a food my family loves--cheese! And this book has given me all the things that I will need--recipes, procedures, the tools and items to use, and so much more! This is surely a great purchase!
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Easy cheese making By Sanjin Cheese is universally loved food, and yet very few people know how to make it at home. This book does a great job in demystifying that process and honestly, it is not so hard. You don't have to have some special tools or ingredients (except maybe cheesecloth and milk that is not much processed).I managed to make ricotta following a recipe in this book and I was pleasantly surprised with the taste. I did make a mess in the kitchen, but it isn't so bad for the first time.I don't know if I'm going to continue with making my cheese regularly, it is still easier to buy it, but I will definitely try all the recipes from the book. That is the only downside of this book; there aren't that many recipes for cheese and that is a shame. However, good book for anyone who loves cheese, it is a great feeling when you make your own.

By Kindle Customer I am reviewing the format of this cookbook as I have not yet tried the recipes. This book is well written...simple, straightforward and informative. It covers the full scope of making ricotta, mozzarella and yogurt cheese. The basics are covered white well and the variations of flavor additions are also presented. I would like a few photos of various stages...like curd forming...but given this was free, I can't be too fussy. Well done, Ms. Hart!
