By Amazon Customer Our minds,so far as we know, are the most complex things in the universe; and the best of them pose interesting questions. Feynman wondered: "Where does the weirdness go?" Poets also ponder such things; Louis MacNeice wrote:" World is crazier and more of it than we think, incorrigibly plural" If these ideas interest you- and they should- and you like SF (speculative fiction, that is) then this well written thriller is a book for you. Taking on important new ideas about the world it tells a gripping story with all the classic ingredients of a Good Read. SF has traditionally involved encounters with aliens, the future, and alternative communities. But "What If?" - the perennially important question- our present and apparent lives were not as we assume them to be?Mind Field has all the ingredients of a modern thriller and tells a story of intelligence and emotion confronted with professional power,corporate greed, corruption and fast -paced action. The central "What if?" question (No spoilers in this review) is well finessed. It makes an elegant link between hard science and poetry.I liked it. You may too.

By Amazon Customer Great characters good and bad, fast paced, sex, love, friendship action,death and leaving you considering the possibilities of alternative realities. I recommend anyone to read it. Would make a great movie. You will not be disappointed.
