About the Author Michael Howard is a solicitor and legal English lecturer from London. He grew up in Surrey, England and qualified as a solicitor in 2005. After many years of legal practice he decided to travel around Europe and the Middle East lecturing law and teaching English. His travels took him to Poland, Germany, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and finally back to the UK where he was invited to teach legal English to foreign lawyers and law students at courses run at Cambridge University. Michael now works in legal publishing and spends his free time writing dictionaries and exercise books to help foreign lawyers improve their legal English. Great Reference & Study Exercise Book By Amy E Villeneuve I was happy to get this paperback book titled Legal English Dictionary and Exercise Book Drafting Commercial Contracts by Michael Howard. As I read through this book, I found it to be well organized, easy to read and a good reference book for law students and those who's first language is not English. I like that it is not only a dictionary but a glossary of types of contracts, commercial considerations, introductory contract terms, duties and obligations and boilerplate clauses. At the end of the book I like that there are a lot of different types of exercises that include the answers at the very end of the book. I think this would be a good dictionary for law students.
