From the Author Writing this book was a daily 4 am boarding call fueled by caffeine, epic film soundtracks, French pop classics, a childhood reading Marvel comics and Doc Savage, and the tick tock tick tock of my own advancing years. Every morning I was surprised, frightened, and thrilled that some of what I was putting down actually seemed to speak to the story that was in my head. About the Author Steven Welch grew up in Daytona Beach. The lucky cuss travels the world as an announcer for a professional water-ski show. He lives in Florida with his wife and daughter. "Elise and The Astonishing Aquanauts" is his first book.
