Spectacular By Gemmy Fracture topped Tremor, and Tremor was fantastic! This book is beautifully written, fast paced, with new and old characters - bringing a freshness, along with a bucket load of nostalgia.I love the addition of Tripp (who makes me laugh) and the way he bounces off the other characters, and the new baddie is not to be messed with. Seriously. She is psychotic. Old characters are as awesome as ever, Althea being my favourite; she is badass!I also love that this is such an adventure story. Our characters are in constant danger, going on rescue missions and battling to survive. It's hard to explain without spoilers and you do not want to be spoiled! Just read it. Read it now :DI highly recommend this novel. An outstanding sequel! I cannot wait for the last book :)

After a pretty epic win over Terrafall By Liz Scanlon After a pretty epic win over Terrafall, the people and the land are healing themselves and each other. Sure enough, when you think life goes on with unicorns and butterflies after defeating an evil corporation, think again. Corporations tend to have tentacles hidden in the sidelines waiting for their chance. In this case the tentacle is named Enya. A beautiful evil villain.Fracture comes with a new set of challenges, a few new characters and pretty awesome action. We follow William, Fear and Tripp as they fight for their lives and sanity. The world and environment in this book is wonderfully built and easy to imagine. Some bad surprises and good surprises are ingredients of a gripping book and there’s no shortage of these in Fracture. What I most pondered on while reading this book, was the fact how the main characters are so beautifully kind and humane. How they constantly fight for their personal souls and survival. I immensely enjoyed the little snippets of real life, or in the book’s case- past life, that helps the reader really see the value of what has been missing and newly found. Like the presence of music!I also need to mention the villain Enya, of course… She’s no earthquake, she’s no Terrafall, but she is cray-cray. I am guessing a serious dose of narcissistic “Me-me-me”-syndrome! In case you missed it, I had the pleasure to interview Enya. Glad I escaped that experience without getting my pretty face mauled! I gotta give it to her though… while she has no sympathy for human life, she seems to miraculously have a heart for dogs. What an enigma! The characters of this series have been through so much. They’ve worked so hard and not given up on life and humanity. I look forward to the next instalment to see where they go after Terrafall and Enya.A big thank you to Ryan for sending me a copy of his book! Keep writing, you’re on to something ;)

By Kristina's Books & More Ryan Mark brings readers another wonderfully written and heart-stopping adventure with Fracture!A book is only as good as its plot and characters and Ryan does a great job with both. I love how strong these characters are, despite being children stuck in such dire circumstances. Growing up in this world has caused them to grow up young, but I am glad they are still so positive and light-hearted after all they have endured. Tripp was a great addition to the story. I enjoyed the comedic relief he provided during the dark situations in the book, which was needed to keep the story from becoming too dark. Althea is such a badass. I love how feisty she is. She and William are so loyal, not only to each other, but to those they love. It adds such a deep and meaningful tone to their relationship. The bad characters are written just as well. Enya is truly crazy and I loved seeing into that crazy mind, even if it scared me as much as it did William, Althea, and Tripp. The plot itself is every bit as good as Tremor, if not better. Fracture is full of surprises, action and humor wrapped up in a delightful world fraught with all kinds of danger. It is unique and wonderfully creative. This adventure was such a pleasure to read! I still very much enjoy reading about William and co. and wish there were more books like this out there. Not only with a young man as the main character, but a profound story packed with meaning, emotion and great characters/relationships.But the thing I enjoy most of all- in both Fracture and Tremor- is the overwhelming sense of hope. Not only for the world and characters in the Tremor Cycle, but for our own world as well.I am very much looking forward to the next book and seeing what Ryan has in store for us. I am sure it is going to be amazing!
