By Raina Smith I have family from China and so I know some of the culture from them. This was an interesting read for me and gave me some valuable information. Have you ever went into a store and just looked around to see who made the items. I have and most will say "made in China". You will find very few that say "made in USA". It's a part of the book that is all about factories and how things are made in China. This was my most favorite part of the book. I'm always wondering how things are made and we get them here in the USA. This just makes me want to learn more about the history of China. I guess you can say it intrigues me to figure it out. I know I can never visit China. However knowing facts and information will just have to do. Plus meeting the people from there is always an amazing experience also. China is a really amazing & beautiful country. This book is a lightning guide and inside of it has many beautiful photographs. It's packed with very valuable information as well. You will learn a lot in such a short book. My daughter is now wanting to read this book as well. I love my children wanting to learn and these are perfect books (lightning guides) for kids.I received this book complimentary of an honest and unbiased review.

That all changed after reading this book which is jam packed with information! You get to learn about China's politics, money, etc.You find out that China borders fourteen different countries. You also get to learn about all the importing and exporting in China. They control WAY more than I ever imagined! Not to mention the population! Ever movie I have ever seen with China in it, shows it so crowded, and this explains that it really is true! This book is jampacked with more information that I ever knew existed on China, and it's all in one little paperback. It's small and easy to carry. I kept it with me at all times until I finished reading it.I highly recommend having this if you ever want to travel to China, and even if you just want to learn more or think your kids might need it for school essays!

It's informative in many different levels and some good to know information. Especially since most of our stuff is made in China it's a nice read to know about their history and the beauty of their country. Has many pictures included in this book for you to see the beauty and go back in the history with them. It's short so not a very long boring book with no photos you have to read this one has lots of information and photos and is short! V
