Rather than offer any kind of advice, this book offers questions you can ask yourself to create the relationship you really want. I found myself almost transported out of my body by the insight I got from the questions. There is some kind of practical magic that gets worked as you follow John and Nirmada's story and their method. No matter what I decide to do with my relationship, I now feel I am the author of my own life. Thanks for the amazing book. Five stars for sure.

There is such an energy of possibility that has been re-ignited in my own personal relationship as I ready my way through this book. As a professional, I could be a bit embarrassed to say this publicly but I was NOT living or creating my relational reality in 10 second increments. I was destroying it with conclusion, limitation and what the past has shown me. And, it was true for my enjoyable other. We have since navigated some really difficult challenges with humor, kindness, love and total possibility. The space of allowance this has created has literally saved our care for each other, benefited our kindness with self and the other, generated more possibilities than either of us could have imagined and afforded us the luxury of choosing things from the space of demand as individuals and yet as a collective...no right or wrong...just expansiveness to choose what's the best for each of us and allowing that the change day by day with choice...whew so grateful and so free-ing. I adore you both John and Nirmada. and THANK YOU...beyond words...

Finally a practical guide to becoming aware of how to create a relationship, rather than just fall into the same old patterns that don't work. Inspiring, insightful, inviting. It can take courage to look at how we personally are contributing to the kinds of relationships we have in our life, especially when they are abuse, destructive, or simply left wanting...It can be confusing to know how to improve on a relationship that is going well. Whatever end of the spectrum you find yourself on, this book will provide very useful tools to expand into something greater. What a gift to all relationships!!! Thank you Nirmada and John.
