6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. What a great Book By William J. Henderson This read was one of the most informative books on the Holocaust subject. Having read fifty plus on the holocaust, this one is a must read on your list. Very well written and knowledgeable. I will definitely read this again. This book instills in the reader, the strength, love, faith, and the will to live of the prisoners held against their will. I praise all the survivors of the holocaust. They were all hero's in my book.

By Barbara I liked reading about the treatment of the prisoners from the first person. How people were worn down and had no will, This explains how people could be controlled and have not feelings toward the fellow man. Also why some were able to fight back in small ways.
