The paper is heavier than a standard, cheaper coloring book, but best of all (!!!)...the images are printed on one side only and the pages are perforated! Woohoo! I like the designs (31 as the cover indicates) and most cover the entire page, something I personally like. There are 8 mandala designs that naturally do not cover every square inch. Every page is wonderful, filled with intricate designs, but not too intricate like so many books. I don't recommend for kids, but teens would do fine with it. If you are into patterns, mandalas, kaleidoscopic or want to try something different & awesome, you won't be disappointed. Peter Pauper Press hit a home run with this quality book, so I will definitely be checking out their other "31 Designs" books! Fellow Adult Colorists!...Enjoy & Have Fun - Debbie ;0)

Challenging but not Relaxing By Aquamax Things I like about this book:Heavy paperPerforated pagesBlank spaces are not too small31 different beautiful designsI found kaleidoscope-style designs challenging for a myself (a beginner and a bit OCD.) Still, I found it enjoyable if not exactly relaxing .

I wrote the Veteran's Handbook to give veterans all the information they need to get the benefits they deserve from the VA and the state they live in. There is also a section on Veteran's Organizations and the benefits they provide, such as, helping the veteran through the entire disability claim process. This one benefit alone allows veterans to save money. Instead of hiring an expensive lawyer the veteran can get the same service free of charge from a Chapter Service Officer volunteers who has gone through extensive training to learn the process. There are also National Service Officers who just help veterans with their claims on a full-time basis. The veteran doesn't have to be a member of the organization to receive this help.

About the Author I was in the Army for six and a half years on Active Duty. My MOS was Food Service Specialist. I had many medical issues that were documented when I was sent to the Medical Board. I got out of the Army and received a 60% rating. I resubmitted for increased back pain and received 70%. I resubmitted a final time because of my migraines and I was granted 90%. It took a lot of time and research to make it successfully through the process to this point. I was very frustrated with the system because no one told me what to do and how to get the benefits I deserved. I did fortunately receive 2 good pieces of advice which were to go to the DAV to get help filing my claim and to make a copy of my medical records. I have done a considerable amount of research over the years and have put it in this book to help my fellow veterans.

By Cathy's Review Author Suzanne Hill walks the talk as a 90% disabled veteran who found a way to navigate the VA system on a path to finding the benefits she deserved for her own medical issue. Her perseverance paid off with a proper classification.This author abundantly shares her wisdom with us in the Veteran’s Handbook: How to Get the Benefits You Deserve, 2015 Edition. She continues to research the VA system in order to bring us relevant information, all in one book, which stays up to date. Sure, we can do the same thing, call everyone, ask the questions, and find it out for ourselves, however, why do that when this author has already done the work, and now she shares how to be ‘system savvy’.The book outlines the benefits that apply to us in any state, and then breaks it down in the last section for benefits offered in all of the different states. It is written in a very logical order and flows well. Let’s face it, reference manuals are boring, but this one is written very clearly, and is awesome. The reference section in the back offers further valuable connections to organizations and resources.This book is a must have. I would buy the hard copy, to have on hand and write my notes in, then also the Kindle version, for convenience.

By Big E I spent a lot of years trying to get my benefits when I retired from the military and I was only at 40%. I had thyroid cancer and other physical problems and the Army only gave me 40%. I spent a lot of frustrating years fighting to get what I deserved. The problem was finding the information I needed to get the benefits I deserved. This book is an amazing book that not only tells you what benefits you are entitled to but step by step how to get them. I am now at 90% disability rating. I have just recently filed for a 100% unemployability rating. The information in this book is invaluable.

By Kindle Customer THIS IS A "MUST HAVE" book for every Veteran; and their families. The VA does a 'very good job at providing for the needs of Veterans and their families. Unfortunately, The VA doesn't always get the word out to the beneficiaries very well. This book fills that gap. Recommended reading for all.

Zullo (zullo@mandic.com.br) It's really a pity (almost a shame) that Amazon.com doesen't have a complete list of Leblanc's work. Anyway, if you're intersted, in Brazil contact Editora Nova Fronteira. I really don't know if they are still publishing the books, but you should try. Leblanc's hero and at the same time, villain, is Arsène Lupin, a frenchman talented for arts, literature, wining young ladies' hearts, and, oddly, robbery. He is the portrait of the frenchman, hilarious, independent, clever, and human. Leblanc hit the bull's eye creating this kind of character to go against the other mistery characters of his time, like Agatha Christie's Poirot, or Father Brown, or Inspetor Maigret and, most of all, the All-Time Brittanic Sherlock Holmes. As a matter of fact, there is a book called "Arsène Lupin meets Herlock Sholmes", figure out why! "Crystal Stopper" is one of the three Leblanc's books one must read, it's the first one. The other two are called "The hollow Needle" and "813". In these books, Lupin is involved with treasures, has to decipher complicated plots, has to save his life and lives of people he cares about. The most funny chapters are the ones he has to deal with the french police force. He even disguises himself as a well-known and respected inspector for years, and no one is able to discover him. If you're sick and tired of Miss Jane Marple and such characters, take your time and find Leblanc's books. Another good guess is "The teeth of the tiger", showing an older and tired, yet very alive, Arsène Lupin.Follow him and discover his secrets, his passions, and his treasures.

9 of 9 people found the following review helpful. This Kindle Version Is Missing Paragraphs of Texts By Sol T. Kim Crystal Stopper is one of the most entertaining Arsene Lupin adventures. Lupin is put on the defensive from the opening and has to fight his way out of the hole in which he finds himself. I highly recommend the book and prefer it to other versions where Lupin basically plays the superman.This particular Kindle version, however, is problematic. It is missing entire paragraphs from the book. Specifically, any time the original book paraphrases a letter or newspaper article, this version simply omits it. So frequently you get texts like the following (directly quoted):Among the late news he found the following pargraphs:In between other newspapers and prospectuses lay a letter. Lupin jumped when he say it. It was addressed:"Oh," he gasped, "a letter from Gilbert!" It contained these few words:Once again, Lupin spent a night alternating between sleeplessness and nightmares.This is extremely frustrating and takes away a great deal from book. Again, I highly recommend the book but there must be a better e-version of the book than this one.

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. the crystal stopper By katherine Kourti Besides this book I have also read :"IN PURSUIT OF ARSENE LUPIN" ,"ARSENE LUPIN vs HERLOCK SHOLMES","EXTRAORDINARY ADVENTURES OF ARSENE LUPIN" in the early '90's translated into greek. I was totally taken by the portrail of the character and by how well-written the book was!!! I've managed to convince my husband to read :"The Extraordinary Adventures... " (the only title we could get from the library) and he absolutely loved it!We have decided to buy all the titles we could find because they are worth having. All lovers of SHERLOCK HOLMES should give Arsene Lupin a try!

It includes general hair tips, hair product and accessories descriptions and uses, and tons of tutorials. This book has inspired me to try and do more with my hair, and there are so many options and styles to choose from. From modern looks to retro inspired styles, there truly is something for everyone. The instructions are clear and helpful, the pictures are beautiful, and there are drawings throughout to help emphasize the details. The book is so visually appealing too that instead of storing it away in a bookshelf or drawer, it's a perfect display piece on my vanity. So happy I purchased this, and it is now my go-to reference guide for all things hair-related!!

Jones I bought 12 of these books after my first purchase since it makes such an amazing affordable quality gift for the "women in my life"....both personally and professionally. Everyone loves this book. It's full of great "how to" illustrations as well as beautiful photographs. Best of all, it is well written. I loved the size of the book. It's not your normal book size and is very cool and smells of quality when you hold it in your hand and flip through the pages. I highly recommend the book for you and the women around you.

Like some crack dealer, the author Chris Fox gave a free taste of this via a post on Reddit giving away No Such Thing as Werewolves for free. I can pretty much state with 110% certainty if it weren't for that Reddit post, that I would never have picked up these books.I purchased the next 2 with actual cash money. Enjoy those 2 lattes i just paid for , Chris.I'm halfway through this final book . I wanted to write a review for either the first or second books which i have actually finished, but this book has the fewest reviews and THE WORST title (not that i could come up with anything better). So i wanted to bump it.I am big into fantastical stories that have internally consistent magic systems. Kinda like... Mistborn or the Brent Weeks books.I guess "balance" is the key. like some super elaborate paper scissors rocks system. that way, its less deus ex and more resourcefulness of the characters that solves problems. this story has that.I love Finger prints of the gods type stuff , para-archaeology . Like how Engines of the God started. Stuff is so ancient and yet so advanced everything we thought we knew is flipped! Who were they!? this story has that.I also like, parallel mythology that crosses cultures. like why do these 2 remote places have the same creation myths or whatever?! oh crap same real life phenomenon!! this story has that.The author puts a new spin on some very well used themes weaving a lot of things together skillfully. The scope of the story is pretty big. And there are a lot of references that I get. He ties in a lot of themes. Also i think the author is a programmer and i think that sort of object oriented thinking leaks into his writing.I am a terrible writer , i even cringe thinking how poorly written this review must be. This new author isn't terrible , and this series is worth a shot if you like stuff like me. My commute time and the pages of this series have just melted away. i look down sadly as my kindle progress % creeps up way too fast. and i resent that each book is shorter (less dots on the kindle home screen) than the last.anyway, well done Chris Fox. I hope like Hugh Howey or Andy Weir or John Scalzi , you can quit your day job too.... and get a movie deal someday.Trevor is the best.

By R Hart Being a junkie for scifi more on the fantasy side, I run through a lot of different series. I enjoy getting invested in characters and seeing some great development in their journey. This was my favorite discovery of 2015. The author has given us a world where all the old story typecasting is not as predictably evident. Strong characters that work, without giving up on everything tried and true. I still got to have my favorite aspects of a great lighthearted read: a of the character you have to care for, the character you love hating, action and some intrigue and still get some nice surprises along the way. If you're looking for a paranormal series that has most of the feel good recipe but still delivers some surprising aspects. basically to turn old tropes on their ear, you may love the Deathless series. I'll keep going on the series to see how some of the items dropped here and there eventually tie in.

As a Military guy I generally stay towards military sifi and space operas, however I came across these books by accident as I was looking at Destroyer also by this author. This was a Dublin thrill ride over the last 4 days. Some people binge watch TV, I binge read book series.I found the end of this book not as good as the others but I am assuming it is setting up the next set. I eagerly await this hopeful continuation. I have 4 book series that I check Amazon for at least every two weeks for a new book. This will become my 5th. If you read this review, and you like action and mythology...BUY THE SET

The best banjo instruction book on the market- by far By richard climie This is by far the best banjo instruction book I have found in several years of lookingRoss Nickerson has gone to a lot of trouble to explain all the techniques in a clear consise mannerHis section on the rolls is superb and he takes you along with him through the book by gradually increasing thecomplexity of the exercises and songsI have learned more from this book ( and my playing has improved more) in the past month than the past 18 months ofwading through other books and skype lessons. Even my wife noticed and I am now allowed to practice in the living room! Well done Ross, I hope its a best seller- Richard Climie

So I took some time to read this book on my local library.The book takes you through the bases of the language; variables, operators, capturing input and flow control. And it does so in a very concise and direct way that I enjoyed very much.It pretty much gave me a complete introduction to what I wanted to learn.But that wasn’t everything the book had in store…To my surprise, the book had a comprehensive introduction to MySQL too; data types, query and ddl syntax, and even a small chapter covering how MySQL and PHP can work together.A pretty complete package, I would recommend this to anyone looking for an introduction to either technology.

Currently we are working on designing a proprietary contact relationship management software at my firm and our team of programmers are writing it with a lot of MySQL. I have a good understanding of what they are talking about because I read this and databases are not my forte.
