Covers it all By Cathy Juntura I'm a garden enthusiast and I bought this book to learn a bit more about growing different crops (such as different vegatables) and such in a natural way. This book seems to have it all covered and was really easy to read as well. Now I just need to go out and start growing different crops!

Very good book By Amazon Customer I always wanted to get into farming but never got around to it because it seems like a time sink however this book was really good and finally motivated me to do some gardening. The book has some very simple tips and indicators so you know when exactly to water and how much for and what you should do in order to make sure your plants grow to be the best possible. Only because of this book I now have a small farm growing in my backyard. Really good book and it helps you get some fresh fruit in your household, I would highly recommend it. Farming has never been easier.

By Jo Grafford A perfect story is for true zombie book and movie lovers -- not for the faint of heart. It grabs you by the throat on page one and never lets go. Lots of twists and turns in the plot, including a few that completely caught me off guard and held me shivering beneath the sheets because I was reading in bed. Past midnight. During a violent rainstorm. Just couldn't put it down. This book is part of a series, but it read as a great stand alone. Now I plan to go back and snatch up a copy of book one.

Precise and relevant content. No fluff that takes up space. Very quick read. Essentially an outline on how to prepare to write your book (or not). Some of the information was overly logical (get sufficient rest, eat healthy), but I will not look at that information as a negative, as most of us need to be reminded of such things. And, hey, the author is selling books, so he must know a thing or two about the writing process. He is also a very good cheerleader, repeatedly encouraging readers to just write, despite inner doubts. I will definitely give the suggested process a try. Stay tuned!

By Tracy Morrow I have been looking all over the place for a book that would help me not only improve my writing, but teach me how to create a story as I am not confident in making up stories. This book is the last one I need to look at and I'm so thankful for that. Not only does it outline a quick and easy outline to follow to create a multi-dimensional story, it has all sorts of resources for spelling, grammar and how to start selling a book. Excellent and I highly recommend it!

There are geometrics, mandalas, paisleys, flowers/plants, waves, abstracts -It will help you in term of relax and tranquility. You will find more than 35 dazzling mandala designs that will provide you the inner peace. You will find a lot of varieties in term of black line art as well as a numerous collection of amazing art. About the Author Michael G. LaFosse is widely regarded as one of the top masters of the art of origami. Together with Richard L. By CF Well, I'm shocked to be the first to offer comment on this book because usually there seems to be a smattering of what smacks of friends and family "reviews." To her credit, however, JW didn't take that route, so I already liked her for that. Having now finished the book, I definitely like the way she thinks.This is the 5th book I've read on the topic and I got a LOT out of it. Author's vehicle started out bare bones, as I would like mine to, and through innovation (often really brilliant ideas), she created what looks to me like very workable systems and build-outs that don't add a lot of pointless weight. She did a lot of research and built a lot of it herself using sometimes creative alternate materials sources to save weight or money or both. She covers security, self protection, dispersed camping, build-outs, how she did the solar and why, and mentions details I'd wondered about but weren't covered elsewhere. I only found one thing that made me question (mechanic checking out vehicle before buying) but in her case, she trusted the seller and probably I would have also based on how that went. Lots of really good ideas. Very good writing also -- she explains how she did them, either thoroughly enough to duplicate or to conceive your own variations from. I missed not seeing photos, that's my only complaint, but her explanations were pretty darned complete. For other women considering VanDwelling alone particularly, I think this is a must read. For anyone, though, it has some really great ideas, including things you may not have thought about yet. For those contemplating minimalist RVing, I recommend this book for sure, and I strongly suspect more experienced RVers may well get plenty out of it also.

By Peyton Ms Ward has the uncanny ability to weave her unique narrative and personal insights with practical information about how to prepare for and successfully live and travel in a van.Several things about this book that I found particularly appealing:The author is so creative in her approach to finding and modifying her van. She gives easy to follow details about how to convert a van into a habitation. In the end, the van becomes a character itself.Jess is a natural story teller. Her vignettes of her preparation, travels, challenges, and triumphs are well told and fun. She sprinkles her tale with gems of wisdom that far exceeded my expectations when I first began reading it.If you are a van dweller or have any interest in the world of van dwelling, get this book. It is a masterful guide to living in a van, and to being alive.

By Amazon Customer Some people choose to live in a van (aka van dwelling) due to economic realities or sense of adventure or a quest for simplification. More people could make that decision, if they knew more specifics, more details. Jess Ward's book gives those specifics, those details, also giving a sense of the behind the scenes thinking involved in successful van dwelling. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in van dwelling - even though this book is titled "Woman's Guide," the topics covered are equally applicable to both genders.

After reading Adam's first book, "Winning The Money Game" I was completely hooked on learning everything I could on the subject of financial literacy.Adam has once more provided an extremely valuable, authentic, and easy to read piece on how to get your "financial house" in order. It doesn't matter where you are starting from or how old you are, this book provides the knowledge we all are looking for. I loved the end of chapter "Your Mission" where he lays out what I need to do to move forward at the end of each lesson.I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to minimize your expenses, eliminate your debt and build your savings!

Steven F. Lott has been programming since the 70s, when computers were large, expensive, and rare. As a contract software developer and architect, he has worked on hundreds of projects, from very small to very large. He's been using Python to solve business problems for over 10 years. He's particularly adept at struggling with thorny data representation problems. He has also authored Mastering Object-oriented Python by Packt Publishing. He is currently a technomad who lives in various places on the east coast of the US.

Excellent book for experienced programmers looking to learn Python By Tim Crothers I found Python Essentials to be a very solid book depending on your background and intent. This book is best suited if you are an experienced programmer looking to learn Python to add it to your toolkit. To that end the chapters are all matter of fact and straight to the point. Coverage of Python is quite broad despite being just over 250 pages. On the other hand if you're new to programming then this book is unlikely to get you coding in Python successfully. There is very little discussion of "why and when" to use things, just how. The book also lacks any examples of how to tie the pieces all together. All of the Python code is done discretely in snippets illustrating just the necessary information.I gave the book four stars instead of five for a few reasons. Mostly it boils down to the book sending some confusing messages. For instance, the Amazon description "a rapid guide to the fundamental features of Python" is spot on whereas the cover of the book displays "Modernize existing Python code and plan code migrations to Python using this definitive guide". The latter from the cover is definitely not accomplished in my opinion. There is no discussion of code migration or modernization beyond the initial chapters reasons for focusing on Python 3 rather than 2.x. There are a fair number of similar inconsistencies which lead me confused a bit. Ultimately they were mostly just distracting rather than serious flaws.All in all an excellent book for this with solid programming experience looking to learn Python quickly.

I downloaded it looking for an adventure book set in South America. The plot turns always seemed to follow the same formula so that the adventure wound up being trite and predictable. Literarily, there is nothing special... no lush descriptions of a stunning new world, no clever dialogue to help expound and illumine the characters, no interesting turns of phrase. All in all, it was just flat.

A prolific writer, this book was written in 1915 and certainly stands the test of time. Very interesting story about the search for the fabled city of gold somewhere in South America. The story is well developed, full of suspense and a pleasure to read.
