Wilkinson Suvi's Revenge (Rowan Sisters' Trilogy Book 3)In the third installment of the Rowan sister trilogy Suvi is looking for her mate. Cele is still trying to steal the sisters'powers. Suvi meet her mate Caine, but he is being blames for a murder. The vampire King gives Caine three days to prove he is innocent, so he seeks the Aide of a witch. Soon he find out the Witch happens to be his fated mate. Together with her sisters they set out to find the truth.The story also has an original plot, with vampires added to it. Which to me added an extra spark. I did like Svui, and I like the sisters working together. Overall I found the story entertaining and feel that those who like Witches and Vampires will like it as well. I recommend Suvi's Revenge to those who like fantasy, and suggest to readers 18+ due to graphic sexual content.* I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A rousing end to a fine paranormal trilogy By Mb4pax This last novella in the Rowan sisters' trilogy brings Suvi and Caine together as Fated Mates. Caine seeks out the witches to help him find the real murderer of his date -- the murder of whom he is accused. Along with this cause, the witches must search out the dark magic witch who will do anything to gain the three witches' powers. With energy, tension and Dark Warriors aiding the cause the white light witches work to gain Caine's freedom and find the evil Cele. Again the mate relationship is woven throughout the entire story. The trilogy is a fine addition to the Dark Warrior Alliance series. Hopefully, the Rowan sisters will continue to be a part of future books in the series as they add their own sense of style and rightness to their dangerous world. A caution: the sensuality is explicit and can be skipped over (if desired) to enjoy the whole story.

The ending wasn't quite what I wanted, but was satisfying. I'm sad that this is the last book in the trilogy and hope the authors at some point decide to write more about the sisters as they start the next part of their lives.

Ready to help me when that monster called grief, will show its ugly face again.I read it with two questions in mind, was Viva my heart dog? am I wallowing? I got my answers, but more importantly, I also found things I could have done differently that would have helped me coping with the grief. Something I never expected would happen.Grief is immensely personal, and I remember how I also wanted to own it. Find my way. Not listen to others. Being stubborn about that nobody could help me, and how I persisted on drinking the cup empty alone.In her book, Roxanne never tells me what to do, instead she gives me the feeling I am not alone, and makes suggestions along the way. She is never wallowing about her own loss - Roxanne's loss of her own heart dog, Lilly - in the book she is the gentle voice saying "I get it", and "here is what you could try to make it easier on yourself".Together with the fact the book is short and to the point - I wouldn't want to read a huge volume about grief, while grieving - I know now I have a new best friend, waiting patiently on my bookshelf for me to reach out to for when I would need it again.

A lovely, practical guide for dog lovers of all types By J V Many books covering this sensitive topic lack a certain appeal to a mainstream audience because they focus so deeply on the spiritual aspect of grieving that they forget some of the more practical components. For someone taken aback by the depth of their own grief, jumping into a book like that is off-putting and may stop them from giving themselves permission to experience their genuine grief. Others are so pragmatic that someone in the midst of their loss may wonder if the author really understands their own, deeply personal pain. Hawn strikes the perfect balance with this concise, compassionate work. Short enough to get through in one reading, yet comprehensive enough to appeal to a wide range of dog owners, Heart of a Dog manages to hit just the right mark of giving people the information they need while offering an empathetic, compassionate ear. As a hospice veterinarian, this is a book I would gladly recommend to my clients.

Roxanne Hawn has turned her own grief into a valuable resource for others going through the same thing.Reading this book stirred up a lot of my feelings about the death of my "heart dog," even though it had been a few years. Hawn includes some survey data from her blog and it was strange to realize that I fall into the category of people who feel “normal” in fewer than six months. And who got another dog only four months later.Hawn offers a variety of strategies for grieving. Importantly, she recognizes the need to experience grief. There is a good deal of usable information, including the tools you will need to get through the early stages of grief. She also offers innovative ideas for memorializing lost pets, such as using an LED candle as an eternal flame,As Hawn says, our culture is big on beginnings, small on endings, and most people just want you to move on and be okay. This book will help you get there.

I have Samsung S6 sent by mom but unfortunately I can't find any manual inside this box and I am so bored searching the internet for the features of this phone and wanted to read a manual instead and this book fit my needs.I learned a lot of things about my phone from this manua and it's true, there are already pre-installed apps on my phone. I downloaded the ten must have apps provided for me by this book too and yes they are pretty awesome. It was nice to discover that Samsung Galaxy S6 packs an astounding octa-core processing chipthat can be able to handle extremely heavy app that I haven't found in any phone before. Good job to the author for being able to collect these information and gather the in this very informatve book.

I've always had the very simple flip phone. But I need a smartphone now for travel since there are no longer any public phones or phone books available in airports, etc. I took the plunge and bought this Samsung Galaxy S6. However, the little manual that came in the box with it is worthless for someone who has never owned this kind of phone before. I couldn't even figure out how to answer a call! So I bought this book. It was absolutely not worth the money. It was a huge disappointment. It basically tells what features the phone has but does not tell how to use them! It's also a very short book. There are very few pages in it.

For beginner it will be hard for them to start but if they a guide, it won't be so hard for them. I love crochet and i have few beautiful pattern already because i am doing this for while now.

You have a lot of ingredients and the combination of tastes born something new. That is why I like the recipe books very much. It is a possibility to know something new. Sandwich seems to be the easiest type of food. But this opinion is not correct. There are oodles or different recipes that will suit any taste and purse. This book contains some new vegan sandwich recipes. They are pretty good.

About the Author Heather Walpole is the designer and founder behind Ewe Ewe Yarns, a boutique wholesale yarn company specializing in merino wool. She enjoys designing a wide variety of knit and crochet garments that are fun to make and super comfortable to wear. Her patterns are featured on her company’s website, eweewe.com, and appeared in the One + One book series with Iris Schrier, as well as in Knit Simple, Love of Knitting, and Creative Knitting magazines. Knitting My Way Through This One By MSW Whether you are new to knitting or an expert, you will find an intriguing technique to master and color work to play with. The patterns are tested and true. The real life models really showcase the wear ability of the patterns. The handy skill section at the back of the book is a real gem. If you are a teacher this book allows a student to progress and carry an excellent guide book. If I pick up a book and see 4- 5 patterns that interest me- it is a bargain. I found over ten must knits here, making this book a bargain!

By Socalmeaghan I love this book - not only am I inspired to make just about every project in this book, but every project in this book is accessible. Whether you're a newbie knitter who has never knit in the round before, or you're an advanced knitter looking to try a hand a bobbles or colorwork, this book has it all. A wonderful resource that I'll be going back to many many times!

About the Author

Adnan Masood

Adnan Masood, Ph.D. is a developer, software architect, and researcher and specializes in machine learning and Bayesian belief networks. He is an avid engineer and is most comfortable working with the IDE. Before joining Green Dot Corporation, a leading prepaid financial technology institution, he enjoyed life as a principal engineer of a start-up and worked for a leading UK nonprofit organization as a solutions architect. A strong believer in the development community, Adnan is an active member of the Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), an organization dedicated to software security. In the .NET community, he is a cofounder and president of the Pasadena .NET Developers group, which he has been successfully leading for 8 years. He pursues interests in algorithmic puzzles, machine learning, functional programming, cloud computing, service-oriented architecture (SOA), .NET, design patterns, application security, and robotics. He has also led a number of successful enterprise solutions and consulted for several Fortune 500 company projects. Adnan devotes himself to his own continual, practical education. This is not an introduction (or tutorial) in either F# or functional programming (FP). To get the most out of this book you need to have at least a basic understanding of F#, its syntax, and how to read it as well as an understanding of what FP is and why it matters. To be sure, there is some introductory material here on both of these topics but it is a quick overview which provides a basis for the remainder of the book. It is not meant to 'teach' either of these topics.Having said this I found this book to be an outstanding primer on the application of F# to common algorithms and data structures you run across every day in the software development world. The approach taken in this book leads you very nicely from a description of an algorithm (which you are probably already familiar with) to a 'typical' imperative implementation and then to a more FP-centric approach and how F# can be used to accomplish it. Along the way you get introduced to more idiomatic F# and come to understand how to apply the language in the ways it is best suited to.I found the juxtaposition of imperative and FP approaches very enlightening. Even though I have been dealing with FP languages for a couple of years now I learned quite a bit and will probably be coming back to refer to this book again and again. Well done!

If you're reading this, then clearly you're looking into understanding F# to a deeper level, and I can recommend no one higher than Dr. Masood for this undertaking. I find his writing clear, concise, informed, and easy to understand.

Excellent Intro to F# Language's Features and Data Structures By Steve 'Xander' Horn I am a seasoned .NET / iOS developer who is relatively new to functional programming and this is my first F# book. I really enjoyed the concise, practical and succinct introduction to F# with short-n-sweet examples. I found that the quick introduction helped me bridge the gaps in some topics I did not fully grasp and helped me understand the concepts.This book provides a concise view of F# from a vantage point of general purpose software development. In this introductory text, author provides more or less standard collection of basic data structures and algorithms with examples. The author provides illustrations, code samples and explains the ideas thoroughly, which is evident in first few chapters where the concept of data structure and language style are still familiar and a concise writing works well. Some places are bit shallow in detail on each topic and could have been further expanded upon. The chapter quotes and interesting code examples are a nice touch.
