This e-book has great earth friendly recipes for cleaning ever room in your house and everything in it. Good comments on the rewards ok keeping an gleaming house with common every day ingredients. Goes into plants beneficial for clean air and suggests raising earth friendly children.

The secret, kick butt, organization of weres proud to uphold pack law in Arkansas , sworn to protect the wolves that live in secret all throughout the country. While upholding the laws against meth cooking, dangerous red wolf's Zane is the hero once again something happens that could affect his whole life. But, when he can't control his shifting ability, and breaks one of the most important were laws in the state. The punishment is death. With the pack coming at him, where will he go, who can help him. Skylar is one of the few red wolfs left, trying to desperately make a life away from the abuse she left behind. She is a tough as nails construction owner, trying to make the start, not just for her but for other girls that are in abusive homes. She feels anything but womanly, and thinks she can handle it all, until Zane makes an appearance in her life once again. Will Zane be able to find out what happened to his shifting? Will sparks fly when they meet or bullets? Will Skylar be able to put the past in the past, or will her dead father haunt her future?Author Jodi Vaughn has once again write a book that captures sexy as sin werewolves, with a wonderful dose of comedy, and the rush of excitement I love the way that she can tie the whole story in to connect with her other books in the series. Zane is just mentioned here and there in her first 3 books but as soon as the book starts you feel you already know him, just by the previous mentions. As in all of her books so far she brings the characters back from earlier books. Its like a family reunion for every book. I can't wait to see what she comes out with next.

By Dana Busenbark In book 4 of the Rise of the Arkansas Werewolves, we find Zane in Jonesboro with a couple of upcoming Guardians, getting their wings tattooed onto their backs. Something happened a few months earlier that is messing with Zane's inner wolf. He has a suspicion of what it is, but is not positive. He runs into an old friend, Skylar after breaking into a shed to have a hiding place where he can shift when his body is ready. They catch up a bit after she finds him naked in her tool shed, and buys some clothes at the consignment shop for him. What happens when Zane cannot control his shifting. What does Skylar do to help him? How does she keep him hidden so that he does not break Pack Law? Who tries to attack her at Ava's house where she is working when she goes to check on things one night? Who is the person that is creating all the drugs that are being had in Jonesboro? What happens when the person behind the drugs purposefully infects Zane, kidnaps Skylar, and threatens to kill her and Zane? You really must read this book. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful. Another great read in this ARKANSAS WEREWOLVES series By T Another great read in this ARKANSAS WEREWOLVES series! Jodi doesn't disappoint with keeping you glued to your seat telling us about Zane, Barrett's right hand man with the Guardians and Skylar, his little sister's best friend that he hasn't seen in years. Zane is set on a task with 2 other Guardians and 2 newbies to get inked and goes MIA while Lucien and Jaxson try to cover for him with Barrett. Skylar finds a naked man in her tool shed and recognizes him from the start and helps him stay hidden while he's working out his issue. As Barrett is dealing with the other Alpha's and not hearing from Zane, he sends Damon in undercover to get to the bottom of things. We all know Damon isn't going anywhere without Ava, and Ava takes Granny. A great round-up of getting all the characters together in the end for a 'shit-storm'. Loved this and all the ones before.

About the Author Robert Harding Brotherton was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War on a Titan II Missile Launch Crew ready to launch a hydrogen bomb to Russia. He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS Degree in Civil Engineering with a Major in Water Resources. He served as the County Engineer for Knox County, Tennessee and also as the City Engineer and Director of Public Works and Utilities for the City of Dunedin, Florida. He is currently President of Brotherton Engineering, Inc. in Dunedin, Florida. He was selected the Engineer of the Year for the West Coast of Florida in the year 2000. He is a Fellow of the Florida and National Society of Professional Engineers. His hobbies are orchids and genealogy. Co-Author David Roscoe Reed, Jr. was born in Paducah, Kentucky. He has always called Paducah his home even though he presently resides on the shores of Kentucky Lake near Gilbertsville, Kentucky. David graduated from Vanderbilt University and the University of Louisville Law School. He began the practice of law in Paducah in 1966. He also spent a little over 10 years on the Bench as a District Court Judge (2nd Judicial District, Commonwealth of Kentucky) in McCracken County. Both authors are direct descendants of Henry Wildy Harding, Sr.

I enjoyed reading about my ancestors and discovered someone I knew was a distant cousin! There could have been more consistency between the chapters, but the editors were working largely with what people gave them. Harding descendants should buy a copy of this book.

We've started making our own products and cleaning up many areas in our home/life. I had pretty high expectations of this book, however, I was shocked to see "bleach" recommended in the book as well as ammonia! WHAT?! For that reason, I did not give 5 stars. The author did at least give several different recipes and alternative recipes depending on if you wanted to use an abrasive cleaner or not instead of limiting the recipes to just one.The book covers efficiency, safety and other things I thought were kind of silly to be added, but I guess they were covering all aspects of the home. Savings energy, solar panels, clever shopping, organization were also added and while I didn't completely expect these things to be in the book, I did bookmark a few pages to refer to later and I did bookmark several recipe ideas and stain removal remedies.Overall, I would recommend this book. There are several great ideas in it that you will benefit from. It's a little over the top, but if you like details and extra tid bits, then you will love this book.

I have only looked it over, but what I have seen, it will be my new favorite book for awhile. The one thing about the book, that I saw was weird was that some of the recipes called for bleach, which in turn is not environmentally friendly and toxic free.

The Kindle version has the transliteration as well as the Greek but the transliteration is annoying because of errors. Also the footnote numbers do not match up so you have to use the bottom line and find the dot where you were in the earlier part where the footnote number originally was. Slightly annoying but does not detract from concentrating on what Murray J Harris was expounding. This book is excellent as usual by him

When I reached the end of book 4 I was annoyed because I would have to wait for book 5!! But when I looked it up it was a day away from being released. So that wasn't to bad! But now I'm done with Forged in Fire!!! What am I going to do!! I have grown with Tan. I've seen him grow from a boy to a man and gain mastery over his shapings and elementals. I've seen him from someone who just wanted to climb and sense in the mountains to someone who would sacrifice himself for everyone else!! Great book! Great series!! Can not wait for book 6!!

I think thither really good quality is the relationships, like Tan and his dragon, or Tan and Amia. For the most part, the relationships revolve around Tan which is great but it would be nice if there could be more and to take that farther I would say, it would be nice to have conversations that occurred between other people, other than Tan. The story wouldn't feel quite so forced and more rounded if some of the c characters had their own autonomy and identity, other than being linked to Tan.Everyone is still in a big big shock finding out that their are other shapers and very powerful somewhere they never expected. Now, what do they do about him, & how?The Aeta continued to be harassed and harmed. Who is responsible? Can Tan & Amia stop them?Elle, (Tan's cousin) is still missing. I also keep looking for Corbin & Bal to surprise us at some point, at least I hope they're not dead.Ok... so book 5, by far, the worst one yet, as far as writing, and lack of editing. The storyline is still interesting and fun to read but it's painful trying to read through it. There are errors, literally left, right, and one on top of the other. It's not just the errors, but the lack of setting scenes and visual action that goes along with conversations, or simply while having a thought or feeling. I want the story to be released ASAP, but I'd prefer the writer to take his time to get it right, to have deep characters, with detailed action, dialogue and scenes. And, absolutely, hire a talented editor!Age: middle school-adult

It is hard to put down. I especially love seeing the development of the main character from a naive young man to a wise warrior. The series is also different from the usual Dragons and typical magic instead power comes from nature called elemental. I would give this series 10 stars if available.

There are several great gardening books out there (Armitage, DiSabato-Aust) but this is the book I have been waiting for. I have wanted a garden book covering plants (perennials, annuals, trees, shrubs) that I can actually find in a local nursery as well as likely have success in growing in my hardiness zone. Lyon covers 12 states and 3 Canadian provinces broken down into 5 Midwest regions that provide the reader with maximum chances of finding the right plant for "my" site. Lyon's illustrations of over 200 plants are marvelous. His writing style is conversational, witty -- I felt like he was sitting beside me discussing plants, soil, diseases, etc. His advice is based on his personal gardening experiences as well as being the director of several major Midwest public gardens. He is candid about the pros and cons of his selections but leaves the reader with good cultivar choices should you want to try, for example, a Bearded Iris - a plant I have come to dislike in my garden and Lyon's narrative hits the problems on the head. I wish I could have had his critical perspective over the years - would have saved me time, money, and frustrations over my poor decisions as well as often reinforcing the good choices I have made. Lyon wants his reader to have successful and enjoyable garden experiences. I look forward to trying out my newly found Midwest garden knowledge.

3 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Not designs, but defintitely quick tips/ideas By Chris Nothing listed here is a design. These are ideas that all need considerably more research before implementing. Somehow, "replace the roof" was considered a budget idea. I can assure you, it's not.These ideas include, change for doorknobs, replace curtains, add a tile backsplash, remove the carpet, paint, etc. Nothing out of the box listed here. And most of these suggestions need a lot more research and information before someone just implements them in their house.

From Publishers Weekly This volume kicks off a new series dedicated to the travels of Magnus d'Armand, who is rebelling against his famous father, Rod Gallowglass, hero of several Stasheff novels (The Warlock in Spite of Himself). Magnus, under the alias of Gar Pike, travels to the island of Pirogia on the planet Petrarch, which he wishes to convert into a democracy. There, he befriends Gianni Braccalese, the son of a leading merchant. Gianni's attempts to trade his father's goods with other lands are impeded by the Stiletto Company, mercenaries in the employ of one Prince Raginaldi. (At one point, to disguise themselves from marauding soldiers, Magnus (as Gar) suggests that he and Gianni call themselves Giorgio and Lenni-and does several riffs on rabbits, just in case the reader misses the point.) During his quest Magnus encounters several competing factions-with more than one originating off-world-to be overcome. But battle scenes are either described after the fact or rendered in lackluster exposition, and too many familiar names are invoked (Vladimir; Estragon; Feste) but generally ill used. From Booklist Stasheff's earlier series hero Rod Gallowglass' eldest son, Magnus, has left his birth world, Gramayre, to roam the galaxy in a sentient spaceship and foil the plots of the evil and the well-intentioned but stupid. It is some of the latter he runs into on a planet whose human civilization has evolved into something very like Renaissance Italy. Befriending a young trader, Magnus embarks on a quest to find out who is causing an outbreak of war on the planet and then to stop it. Stasheff's pacing is brisk, his historical literacy high, and his wit abundant and dry as ever. In this first outing on his own for Magnus, his creator has not quite solved the problem--posed by the facts that Magnus is physically imposing and telekinetic and has a spaceship on call--of making his victories seem less than inevitable. It's agreeable reading, though, boding well for further Magnus Gallowglass adventures. Roland Green

Excellent First Outing For Magnus By A Customer While the first outing for Magnus holds the same wit and humor as the Warlock series, there are times when it is seen that a new series is being brought to life. Finding himself on a world very much like Renaissance Italy, Magnus takes a guise that will become well know to readers of the later books in this series, Gar Pike. 'Renasissance Italy' finds itself at war, where those left of the former government are fighting each other as their world plunges further into the dark ages. While attempting to help bring peace to this world, as well as a new stable government Magnus (Gar) is also faced with a personal problem. A shadow from his past out to destroy him.While perhaps the setting up of Magnus on his own leaves the reader feeling out of place with a character that had become regular in the 'Warlock' series, 'A Wizard In Mind,' is still one not to be missed. The introduction of Magnus as both 'Gar' and the 'Rouge Wizard' in his own right helps to establish a little better the character for later stories. However I still encourage you to read 'A Wizard in Absentia' as well to gain more insight to the longing that sometimes fills Magnus and why he seems to continually desire and yet fear relationships with women. Be sure not to miss Any of Stasheff's books, including 'A Wizard In Mind.'
